The game can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes, with 16-player co-op games available to join at any time. Characters developed in the single-player mode can be used on online servers, so don’t hesitate to jump in and experience cooperative adventures with your friends or random players!

Your brave character will climb their way through the impressive skill tree by gaining experience points - and they will do so mainly by completing various quests and defeating hordes of monsters plaguing the area. Face many types of abominable creatures inhabiting Embervale’s forests, caves, deserts and dungeons, and test your skills in countless boss fights. Use your dexterity, fighting abilities, powerful spells and strategic thinking in dynamic, soulslike-ish combats - then gather the loot and keep fighting the Shroud!
