Story & Gameplay

The Hobbit tells the story known from the first two movies of The Hobbit trilogy, namely An Unexpected Journey and Desolation of Smaug. It adds a lot of humorous elements, making the plot more approachable even for the younger audience.The Hobbit can be played in single-player mode or in local co-operation on the split screen. The player will command a multitude of different characters, each with his own hilarious ability which should be utilized in order to solve the riddles player will face.

The gameplay involves collecting studs (in-game currency), dropping from destroyed environment objects as well as from defeated enemies, constructed objects, and completed minigames. They can be exchanged for new unlockable characters.
