Join Mario and friends as they embark on a quest to discover the legendary treasure hidden behind the ancient Thousand-Year Door. The game is full of quirky characters, humor, and intriguing mysteries.
The story begins in Rogueport, a notorious town of ruffians. Mario visits Rogueport to help Princess Peach on a treasure hunt, but she mysteriously disappears. Armed with his trusty Hammer and stomping boots, Mario sets out to find the Crystal Stars and track down the princess.
The nefarious X-Nauts are also after the Crystal Stars. They’ve kidnapped Princess Peach and aim to use the treasure behind the Thousand-Year Door to take over the world. Bowser and Kammy Koopa also cause trouble along the way.
