The game is not only set in the world of Warhammer, but it is also based upon the turn-based tabletop board game, called Space Hulk. It puts the players in the interiors of the massive spaceship and leaves the former maze-like structures of the locations.

As it is typical of Space Hulk, the main antagonists here are Genestealers aggressive aliens that threaten humans and intend to make Space Hulk their nest.

The players take the role of one of the Space Marines belonging to the Dark Angels' – Deathwing" company. Its uniqueness lies in the fact it's composed of only Terminators. Terminators' Power Armors provide much more protection and come with more powerful weaponry than the standard Power Armors.

Develop and customize your Space Marine

Space Hulk: Deathwing provides the players with the character development mechanics, too. Annihilating hordes of aliens gives experience points which can be spent to make your Space Marine stronger.

The singleplayer campaign lets you take control of a Librarian one of the Warhammer 40,000 classes. Librarians are battle psykers, who resemble a classic magician class. They are capable of unleashing the power of fire, lightning and telekinetic forces.

However, the Enhanced Edition gives the players the possibility to customize every class in both solo and multiplayer campaigns. The customization concerns not only the appearance of the characters, but it can also tune up the overall gameplay. Moreover, Enhanced Edition also adds the Chaplain Class a powerful Terminator wielding the Crozius Arcanum power mace.

Space Hulk: Deathwing Enhanced Edition comes with the expanded arsenal of weapons, giving you access to new tools of destruction in both solo and multiplayer modes. More weapons means more fierce enemies.
